Description
See my other auctions for more dug relics found while metal detecting around the old military camps at Columbus, New Mexico-the site of Pancho Villa's raid in 1916, and subsequent military camps associated with the Punitive Expedition and WW1. US-24 and Infantry-I collar disks. The entire 24th Infantry (Black/Buffalo soldiers) was stationed in Columbus, NM from 1916 thru about 1921. These discs would have been worn by them. Both are missing the nut from the back. Excellent dug condition. Great display items! Glad to combine shipping if you win multiple auctions. Thanks for bidding!
