    Description

In this auction I am offering both the medium and the small clamps combined for a cheaper price, saving .00 then if you were to buy them separately.
I designed and have been making these clamps for over 25 years. They are designed to hold that end cut piece of rock that just wont clamp into your vice securely after you have cut as many cuts as you can. With this rock clamp you can finish cutting the rock and get every possible slab form that rock instead of breaking it up for the tumbler or throwing it in the pile of end cuts.
The Medium  Rock Clamp can hold a piece 3/4  x 3/4 inch up to 8" x 8"" . It fits all 12" to 24" rock and slab saw's such as  made by Highland Park, Covington, Barranca, Diamond pacific, Lortone, great western, regal, mojave saws, Ideal saws, Raytech, etc... and most of if not all of the older saw's.
The Small  Rock Clamp can hold a piece 1/2  x 1/2 inch up to 3" x 3 3/4"" . It fits all 6" to 12" trim saw's and 10" to12" slab saw's -  new Trim saw's such as All the ones made by Highland Park, Covington, Barranca, Diamond pacific, Lortone, reental, craftsman, rock rascal, etc... and most of if not all of the older saw's.
I even use it with my masonry and tile saws to cut geodes and other rocks at rock shows as well as for masonry work.
This is a far better way of holding an end cut than gluing it to a board, using an aluminum clamp that can loosen or break when tightened to hard or waiting hours to cut it in a concrete casting ( plus less messy ). This clamp can also be used to cut perfect preforms for spheres, cut round rocks that are hard to hold in your saw's vice. It is also perfect for cutting that special rock with the pattern you want to follow but you can't clamp in your saws vice with out it slipping out, with this rock clamp you can place the rock in any position and make your initial cut and then reposition the rock in the clamp and cut the rock along the pattern you want to follow getting every possible slab you can from the rock you are cutting.
Not only that but they are great for making  sphere blanks by allowing you to make perfect cubes which is the key to making perfect spheres easly and quicker by allowing you to cut perfect 90 degree faces without trying to align the rock in your uneven saw vice. Another great advantage and use of these clamps is the ability to cut round or river tumbled stones like montana agates or geodes by using longer screws these clamps will tighten down more securely than your saw's vice to be able to cut the stones then you can turn the cut stone around and place it flat against the rock clamp and get every slab from the round stone thus not wasting any material or having a difficult round rock slipping out of your saw's vice.
It is also great for cutting rocks that aren't clamping well in your saws vice such rounded rocks, geodes, weird angled stones or other rocks perfectly with out having to block them up using pieces of wood  to cut them you can easily clamp them in this rock clamp and cut one after another perfectly in half each time.
I designed this clamp because I lost 2 blades years ago when a rock i was cutting that I had glued to the of a 4 x 4 came loose and ruined my blade ( i had glued rocks to 2x4 and 4x4 for years prior). I damaged a 2nd blade when I was using an aluminum rock clamp and the rock slipped out of it and damaged the blade
This Rock Clamp is made of heavy duty Steal and I make each one personally and have full control over the quality. I Guarantee them for 1 year and replacement clamping screws can be purchased through me or better yet at any hardware store.
This makes holding end cuts or difficult rock pieces in a rock / slab  saw easier to cut and a lot safer for your saw.
