    Description

    This commemorative medal was produced for the '84 Games in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia.  Very little memorabilia exists anymore from these Games, because of the war.  The stadium is gone and seldom does anything surface from this event.  This medal looks to be fine silver - NOT SURE, however.  It has an unblemished mirror finish, with a skier on the front and pictograms of a figure skater, hockey player and skier on the back.  See photos.  Medal comes protected in a cardboard and cellophane coin display card.
