1967 Ramsey Lewis Concert Program Ravinia Festival IL Maurice White C Eaton

This auction is for an original program for Ramsey Lewis appearing at the Ravinia Festival on July 26 & 28, 1967. The Ravinia Festival is located in Highland Park, Illinois (north of Chicago). The program measures 6" x 9" and has eight pages. There is a one page bio of Ramsey Lewis and a paragraph for each accompanist: bassist Cleveland Eaton and drummer, Maurice White. There is a full page ad for Ramsey Lewis Cadet LP "The Movie Album". There is a 1/4 page ad for the London House / Mister Kelly's. The program is in fair condition because of some creases - there is a 6" horizontal crease across the middle from being folded in half - there is a 9" vertical crease just left of center from being in half (probably folded into quarters to fit into the concert-goers pocket during the concert) - there is a 4" diagonal crease in the upper right hand corner and a few smaller ones above it - there is a 4" diagonal crease in the lower right corner with a couple smaller ones beneath it - there is a 2" diagonal crease in the lower left hand corner - there are several other smaller creases - the pages are lightly yellowed with age - there is a small (3/8" diameter) tear in the upper left corner about one inch from the top and one inch from the left edge (it is a half circular tear, that goes from the front cover through to the back cover (the back cover has the only missing piece of the tear which is about 1/4" in diameter) the inside back cover has three 2-1/2" wide pieces of scotch tape, one at the top, one at the bottom and one on the right where the booklet may have been taped into a scrapbook.
