*1949 ORIGINAL CAPITOL THEATRE HANNOVER JAZZ & VARIETY / VAUDEVILLE ACTS POSTER*

Description

Up for auction is an original 1949 music and variety show poster for October 28, 1949 at the Capitol Theatre Hannover.  Displays ten acts along with the comedy duo of Vic Gordon and Peter Colville (“straight from their Moss Empire Tour”, in the Café de Cairo billed as the “latest and brightest of the Café Revues” which includes Rolly and Arry – the Musical Vagabonds; the Bert Duke Trio; the “Wizard of the Xylophone”, Julius Nehring; Dancer of the Seven Veils Lydia Wieser, plus acrobats, comedians, roller skaters and Walter Graf and his Band.  Very good condition with vintage folds, wear, some small pinholes on the each corner and edge tearing and folding.  Measures h-22 x w-16 3/8 inches.
