1948 Glass Vanity Powder Jar with Love Note

Description

This 1948 art deco glass vanity powder jar was a great estate sale find. It has scrolled feet on it and the lid is made of celluloid and bronze. It has enbellishments on the lid. It's approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
The powder jar comes with a little bit of history. Taped to the inside of the lid is a piece of paper which states "1948 this was given to me by ??? for no reason other than love."
The jar itself has no chips or cracks. The lid shows signs of wear as the color has worn off on the embellishments in places and there is minor water staining on the lid. Overall in good shape for its age.
