1946 E&J Fox Model Resuscitator; Operational.
Includes 2 Infant masks, 1 adult mask, 2 airways, stethoscope, Aspirator, hoses are pliable, two micro heads for resuscitation and inhalation. Extra hose for accessory Aspirator.
Last used about two years ago to demonstrate mechanical resuscitation with air from an SCBA cylinder. I would strongly advise NOT to use oxygen for demo purposes; but cylinders filled with air are fine. This would be the yellow banded D cylinders. Fits two D cylinders or one D cylinder and one H cylinder with the remote supply attachment.
This unit is very heavy without cylinders, which are not included. It has been restored, repainted twice. Originally it was greenish black, with no lettering. I bought it from an individual who claimed it came from a funeral home in or near Glens Falls, NY.
I painted it black and put a fire department name on it for about ten years; then stripped it and repainted it with my business name on it. Which is how it remains. There of course is a bag of extras; screws, miscellaneous items for mounting, etc. I had six of these units over the years. I have personally owned this for about twenty five years. It’s necessary to keep extra parts because even the screws are proprietary to the unit. It is extremely difficult to alter it. There was a bracket through the case so it could be mounted to the running board of a fire apparatus. I removed this because it sliced my leg open. 😬
I prefer local pick up. I can ship it, but with the cost of shipping; I wouldn’t even want to guess what that will be. Probably around 0+. Which is ridiculous, but out of my control.
